The Microsoft HoloLens 'Share Your Idea' app contest has concluded and the company has selected the Galaxy Explorer proposal as the one that will be made into a real app made for the augmented reality headset.

Nielsen Galaxy Explorer
A small team at Microsoft is currently working to build Galaxy Explorer for the HoloLens, and the company has released the first of a series of videos on YouTube that will keep track of this team's progress. The plan is to release the app for free and make it an open source project so that developers can look at the code as a guide for making their own HoloLens app.
